Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Invos ("Invos", "we", "our", "us"), including our website, invoice generator, dashboard, and related tools (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.
2. The Service
Invos provides tools to create, edit, save, export, print, and share invoices. Certain features may require Google sign-in. Some features may be modified, added, or removed as the product evolves.
3. Your Account and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
4. User Content and Responsibility
You retain ownership of invoice content and other information you submit ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content is accurate, lawful, and non-infringing.
You grant Invos a limited license to host, process, and display User Content as necessary to operate the Service (for example, dashboard display, PDF generation, and hosted invoice links).
5. Hosted Invoice Links
If you generate hosted invoice links, anyone with the link may access that invoice content. You are responsible for secure link sharing and for any consequences of accidental disclosure.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activities.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, scripts, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or other accounts.
- Interfere with Service availability, integrity, or performance.
- Reverse engineer or exploit the Service beyond permitted use.
7. Billing and Payments
If paid plans or premium services are offered, separate billing terms may apply at purchase time. Until then, publicly described features may include free and account-linked functionality.
8. Data Storage and Availability
Some invoice data may be stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups when needed. We are not liable for losses caused by local browser storage removal, device loss, or unsupported environments.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to Invos and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal risk, or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Invos does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice. You are responsible for ensuring invoices and business records comply with laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Invos from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where Invos operates, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
